Review: Summer Love Island 2019

Love Island 2019 started on ‪the 3rd of June last year, I was really excited last year to watch the show and boy it was an interesting one too. There was plenty of heartbreak, tears, arguments and of course a lot of LOVE.

The girls rolled up to the villa in a white roofless Land Rover, closely followed by the boys. The coupling always gets me hooked immediately and I loved getting to know the boys and the girls. Caroline Flack was the presenter last year and had been for the past 3 years. I think personally she is the best person to present Love Island since she has a great personality, listens to what everyone has to say and just, in general, is good at presenting the show.

My favourite girl was Amber because she has such a funny character, is very honest and speaks her mind (in a good way). My favourite boy was Tommy; he joined two days or so later and what I liked about him was how funny he was and fit (although a little be daft).

Ultimately, my favourite couple was probably Molly-Mae and Tommy because even though multiple people tried to get between them and said they were “fake” they got through it, and are the only pair that are still together outside of the villa. Overall, I really enjoyed last year, it was full of a lot of memorable moments.

Overall, we both think you should watch it if you haven’t already – nothing wrong with a reality TV binge-watch!

We give last year’s Love Island 4 out of 5 stars.
